🚀 @PeopleIT is hiring a Network Engineer I to join a fast-paced and dynamic Managed Services (MSP) environment.

📍 Location: Denver Metro Area, USA

🏠 Work Model: Remote, with on-site customer visits as needed

💡 What will you do?

✅ Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure

✅ Work hands-on with Cisco switches / access points and Fortinet firewalls

✅ Provide on-site customer support (rack & stack, hardware replacement, cabling, incident response)

✅ Network monitoring, alerting, and incident management

✅ AWS networking tasks (VPC, Security Groups, VPN Connectivity)

✅ Analyze network performance and recommend improvements

✅ Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

✅ Participate in on-call rotations

✅ Collaborate with senior engineers on complex initiatives

🔎 What are we looking for?

✔️ 1–3 years of experience in networking or IT support

✔️ Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Firewalls

✔️ Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Fortinet technologies

✔️ Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux environments

✔️ Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

✔️ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills

⭐ Nice to have:

➕ CCNA certification (or currently pursuing it)

➕ Fortinet NSE 1–3 certifications

➕ AWS Cloud Practitioner

➕ Previous experience in MSP / multi-customer environments

➕ Exposure to tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Autotask, or NinjaRMM

⚠️ Important:

Candidates must be based in the Denver metro area to support customer site visits when required.
